SACH, Cecil Frank
Cecil Frank Sach was born at Ipswich on 29 November 1904, second youngest child of Leonard Page Sach (1874-21 August 1910), a leather merchant's clerk, and his wife Rebecca née Dawkins (1871-1963), who married at Ipswich on 5 August 1894. Cecil's father died at 15 Broomhill Road, Ipswich in 1910 and in 1911, Cecil was living at 17 Cumberland Street, Ipswich with his 38-year-old widowed mother Rebecca, with six siblings, Leonard 16, Stanley 14, Violet 12, Sidney 10, Beatrice 8 and Leslie 2, his mother remarried in 1912 Benjamin Whight. Cecil married at Ipswich on 6 September 1925, Annie Hinton (17 June 1903-16 July 1995) and they had one son and one daughter. Cecil exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club from 6 Blandford Road, Ipswich in 1978 'Ancient House, Ipswich'. Cecil Frank Sach died at Ipswich on 27 April 1987.
