BUNN, Dorothy Elizabeth
As Dorothy Elizabeth Cooper, she was born at Ipswich on 22 June 1904, eldest child of William Huttman Cooper (10 May 1872-20 February 1951), a master cabinet maker, and his wife Annie Dorothy née Friend (26 June 1881-20 March 1959), who married at Ipswich in 1903 and in 1921 were living at 9 Portman Road, Ipswich when Dorothy was described as a trainee designer, and were still living there in 1939 when Dorothy was noted as a 'decorative artist'. Dorothy married at Ipswich in 1964, as his second wife, Richard Robert Bunn (3 October 1879-14 March 1973), an education officer. As Dorothy Bunn, an associate member of the Ipswich Art Club 1964-1977 and exhibited, with no address, in 1977 ‘Supper for Two’. Dorothy Elizabeth Bunn died at 42 Geneva Road, Ipswich on 15 July 1986, and buried beside her husband in Woodbridge Cemetery.
