JONES, Ralph Vron
Ralph Vron Jones was born at Brentford, Middlesex in 1921, son of Stanley Vron Jones (31 August 1891-1952), a retail wool salesman, and his wife Florence Katie née Whitlock (16 September 1894-3 June 1977), who married at Brentford in 1919 and in 1939 were living at 67 Foxhall Road, Ipswich. Ralph married at Ipswich in 1947, Patricia M. Bourner and they had two children Flora and Peter. A member of the Ipswich Art Club in 1977 when he exhibited from 33 Norbury Road, Ipswich, 'Preparing Fish-Aldeburgh', in 1979 he exhibited from 61 New Street, Woodbridge, Suffolk two pictures, 'Low Tide, Ramsholt' and 'The Gipping at Pipps Ford' and in 1990 'Misty Afternoon at Woodbridge'. In 2002 he was living at Athena House, Melton Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk. Ralph Vron Jones died at Clifden House, Seaford, Eastbourne on 8 May 2013, aged 91, and cremated at Eastbourne Crematorium on 23 May.
