RICHARDSON, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Richardson was born around 1927, daughter of Albert Richardson (1887-1931), youngest son of William Richardson of Bredfield Place, Woodbridge and his wife Elizabeth Clementina Gertrude King (27 April 1893-23 August 1977), youngest daughter of Robert King of Sweffling, Suffolk, who married at Bredfield Parish Church, Woodbridge on 30 March 1914. Young Elizabeth was an associate member of the Ipswich Art Club 1967-1972, but at the age of 16, had exhibited at the Art Club in 1943 two oils, 'Christ and John the Baptist' and 'Talisman' and the following year 'Ponies at Martlesham'. In 1967 she exhibited from High House, Hasketon, Woodbridge, Suffolk, two oil paintings 'Mr. N. Murless's Horses at Exercise' and 'The Old Caravan' and in 1969 an oil 'End of Day'. She also exhibited from 24 Adeley Road, Clifton, Bristol in 1987 at the Bristol Guild of Applied Art Gallery with Louis Ward (1913–2005).
