DICKENSON, Daphne Olive Horton
As Daphne Olive Horton Hawes, she was born in the Southend district of Essex in 1948, daughter of Edward George Hawes (25 August 1907-1990) and his wife Hilda Olive née Horton (23 November 1911-2006), who married in the Uxbridge district in 1947. Daphne married at Benfleet, Essex in 1971, Michael William Dickenson and in 2006 were living at 55 Chapel Lane, Benfleet. Working under the name of Daphne Dickenson, an artist of Brampton, Suffolk when participating in the Westhall Secret Postcard Auction in 2013, when she exhibited 'Spring'.
