WARSOP, Anna
Anna Warsop was born at Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire in April 1960, daughter of Derek Warsop (1928-2 August 2010) and his wife Mary Warsop, née Inger, who married at Watford, Hertfordshire in 1955 and they moved to Suffolk where her mother lectured on art for many years at Suffolk College at Ipswich. Anna studied at Ipswich School of Art 1976-1978 and at Colchester School of Art 1978-1979 and at Bristol Polytechnic 1979-1982, gaining a first-class B.A. (hons) in Fine Art. From 1982, a professional artist, and in 1985 added part-time lecturing in painting & printmaking. She took her Master's at the University of Western England in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking and is a painter/printmaker living and working in Bristol where she is senior model-maker & painter at Aardman Animations Bristol. Anna exhibited two etchings at the Royal Academy, and has shown widely both nationally and international, having work accepted in exhibitions in America, Canada, Spain, Italy, and Ireland, and her work is held in many public and private collections.
