WATSON, Bernard Russell
Bernard Russell Watson was born at Chesterton, Cambridgeshire on 9 May 1917, son of Edward William Watson and his wife Alice Charlotte née Hallett, who married at Wandsworth, London in 1906. In 1939, Bernard was an unmarried salesman, boarding at Revidge, 30 Nightingale Road, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. A member of the Ipswich Art Club 1952-1955 and exhibited from 33 Queen Street, Colchester, Essex in 1951, 'Winter Morning', in 1952 an oil 'Springtime on the Estuary', in 1953 'Two Kittens Asleep' and his last exhibit at Ipswich was in 1954, 'Evening Frost on the Water Meadows'. He married secondly at Dacorum, Hertfordshire in 1974, Ruth Dorothy Jean Spry who died on 7 March 2015. Bernard Russell Watson died at High House Farm, Occold, Eye, Suffolk on 16 January 1990.
