COBBOLD, Fanny Georgina
Fanny Georgina Cobbold was born at Ipswich on 20 January 1862, daughter of Alfred Cobbold (25 August 1813-3 November 1882), a solicitor, and his wife Frances Elizabeth Worship (16 May 1821-19 January 1879), eldest daughter of Revd John Lucas Worship (16 May 1821-6 July 1869), rector of Stokesby, Norfolk, who married at Stokesby on 5 December 1850. Fanny was a sister of Jessie Harriet Cobbold and a member of the Ipswich Fine Art Club 1884-1885, when living with her brother Lucas Temple Cobbold (bapt 5 December 1855-5 April 1919), at 1 Graham Road, Ipswich but she does not seem to have exhibited. She married at St Stephen’s Church, Ootacamund, India on 2 January 1888, John Edward Heigham Hasted (16 July 1863-25 June 1918) of Great Bealings, Suffolk and of the Madras Police, they had a son and a daughter. Fanny Georgina Hasted was of Capel Hall, near Felixstowe when she died at 8 Warren Hill, Woodbridge, Suffolk on 2 October 1955, aged 93.
