COBBOLD, Fanny Georgina
Fanny Georgina Cobbold was born at Ipswich on 20 January 1862, daughter of Alfred Cobbold (1813-1882) and his wife Frances Elizabeth Worship (1822-1879), eldest daughter of Revd John Lucas Worship, rector of Stokesby, who married at Stokesby, Norfolk on 5 December 1850. Fanny was a sister of Jessie Harriet Cobbold and a member of the Ipswich Fine Art Club 1884-1885, when living with her brother Lucas Temple Cobbold (1855-1919) at 1 Graham Road, Ipswich but she does not seem to have exhibited. She married at St Stephen’s, Oootacamund, India on 2 January 1888, John Edward Heigham Hasted (1863-1918) of Great Bealings, Suffolk and of the Madras Police, they had a son and a daughter. Fanny Georgina Hasted was living at Capel Hall, near Felixstowe and died at 8 Warren Hill, Woodbridge, Suffolk on 2 October 1955, aged 93.
