BOWMAN, Nina Moore
Nina Moore Bowman was born at 40 Mapesbury Road, Brondesbury, Kilburn, London on 19 March 1907, daughter of Thomas Kynaston Bowman (7 November 1865-1945), a house furnisher, and his wife Alice Gertrude née Moore (1868-22 April 1907), who married at St Pancras, London in 1890. In 1911, Nina was a 4-year-old living at 40 Mapesbury Road, Kilburn, London with her 45-year-old widower father and three siblings, Gertrude Moore 19, Thomas Moore 18 and Robert Moore 16, all born at Camden Town, London and they retained three indoor servants. In 1939, Nina was living 'on private means', at Dallinghoo Hall, Woodbridge, Suffolk with her unmarried sister Gertrude, who was born on 14 September 1891 and died at The Cottage, Dallinghoo on 21 May 1966, their father had died at the same address in 1945. Nina was a member and exhibitor at the Ipswich Art Club 1957-1968. Nina Moore Bowman died in Buckinghamshire on 4 February 1996, she was unmarried.
