BOND, Frederick Arthur John
Frederick Arthur John Bond was born at 'Courtville', Cirencester Road, Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire on 7 November 1902, son of Edmund Bond (1862-10 May 1937), a sculptor stonemason, who was later a general shopkeeper & sub-post postmaster, and his first wife Elizabeth née Attwood (1862-1915), who married at Charlton Kings, Cheltenham in 1887, his second wife was Eva Frances Herbert (1880-5 December 1926) who married in 1919. In 1911, Frederick was an 8-year-old, living at Charlton Kings with his parents 48-year-old Edmond and 48-year-old Elizabeth with two siblings Alfred Edmund 22 and Gertrude Annie 21, both born at Charlton Kings, by his second wife Edmund had a daughter, Rosemary. Frederick married at Warwick in 1928, Maud Elizabeth Coe (9 October 1901-1978). In 1939, a bank clerk, living at 44 Kingsthorpe Grove, Northampton with his wife and three children. A member and exhibitor at Ipswich Art Club 1949-1953. Frederick Arthur John Bond died at 16 Manwick Road, Felixstowe, Suffolk on 8 December 1971.
