BLINKWORTH, Keith Ulric
Keith Ulric Blinkworth was born in West Bengal, India on 10 October 1907 and baptised at Chaubattia, Bengal on 27 October 1907, third child and eldest son of Kenneth William Blinkworth (30 September 1881-25 December 1951), a surgeon, and his wife Louise Gertrude née Plomer (16 March 1880-12 March 1954), who married in India in 1901. Keith worked in the Indian Civil Medical Service as an assistant medical surgeon and as Keith Ulric Blinkworth, B.Sc., he obtained his teaching diploma from the University of Bristol in 1931 and his M.Sc. in 1932. He married at Bristol in October 1936, Doreen Downey (23 August 1908-20 June 1987) and in 1939 they were living at 31 Royston Headley Lane, Bristol when he was serving in the R.A.F. A member and exhibitor at the Ipswich Art Club from 81 Rose Hill Road, Ipswich 1969-1971 and he later moved to Woodbridge, Suffolk. Keith Ulric Blinkworth was of 11 Burkitt Road, Woodbridge when he died at Ipswich in October 1972.
