RICHARDSON, Paul
Paul Frederick Cooper Richardson was born at Barking, Essex in May 1967. Paul completed a foundation course in art and design at Loughton College of Further Education 1983-1986 followed by a fine art honours degree at the University of Central England 1986-1989. A figurative sculptor in various materials and amongst his public commissions were tightrope walker 'Blondin', for Ladywood Middleway, Birmingham and for the New Works Trust Commission 'Ahoy', a spaceship sculpture for the Midlands Arts Centre. He has exhibited at Food is Art, Cafe des Artistes, Custard Factory, Birmingham; Undercurrents, a Network Touring Exhibition and at 3F Studio Show, Leamington Spa Art College. In 1996 he had a solo exhibition at The Lawns, Christchurch Mansion, Ipswich of his Reception steel figures. He lived at Ambleside, Leiston Road, Middleton, Saxmundham, Suffolk.
