Klair Bauly

Klair Vivien Casey was born in January 1958, daughter of Alan Casey. She married at Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk in 1995 Graham Philip Bauly (October 1961-), a farmer, and works as Klair Bauly. Klair studied woven textiles at West Surrey College of Art & Design 1976-1979 and paints to express a sense of calm and peace, taking the observer on a journey to a deeper meditative place immersing in the image. Initially in textiles and subsequently in gardening which has brought her closer to nature and the intricacies of structure and form. Her work was selected for the Colchester Art Society Winter Exhibition 2019 and the Institute of East Anglian Artists Open Exhibition Spring 2021 and she has exhibited elsewhere including Art in East Anglia; Artspace Woodbridge; Pond Gallery at Snape Maltings Galleries and with a first one person show at Carousel Gallery, Framlingham in September 2021. A Member of the Suffolk Open Studios from Malting Farm, Heath Road, Hessett, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
