FARROW-HAWKINS, George
George Charlie R. Farrow-Hawkins was born at Ipswich in 1994, his mother's maiden name was Farrow. George Farrow-Hawkins studied painting and printmaking at the Glasgow School of Art 2013-2016 and École Des Beaux Arts. He is experimenting with a variety of mediums and techniques including marble plaster, burning, graphite, tar and oil paint and George can manipulate and consider in isolation from their everyday images and his artwork takes the form of raw materials such as graphite and carbon applied to surfaces such as bedsheets, paper, and hair. George had a solo exhibition at The Cut Halesworth, Suffolk and at The Tolbooth Gallery, Stirling and several mixed exhibitions elsewhere, and donated a work to the 'Westhall Secret Postcard Auction' in 2011 'Interior at Westhall' which realised £90 for the charity and the following year donated a charcoal drawing 'Henham Landscape'. In 2020 he was living in Scotland.
