Winifred Jackson, was born at Kersey Priory, Suffolk on 18 June 1905, third daughter of Stephen Jackson (c1871-25 October 1930) , a farmer, and his wife Alice Mary née Ling (1870-31 March 1968, who married at Tannington, Suffolk in 1897. In 1911, a 5 year old, living at The Priory, Kersey with her parents, 40 year old Stephen and 40 year old Alice, and her four sibling sisters, Helen Margaret 9, Alice May 7, Ruth 3 and Kathleen 1. A member of the Ipswich Art Club 1923-1928 and exhibited from 95 High Street, Hadleigh, Suffolk in 1923, a pencil drawing 'South Chapel, St Mary's, Hadleigh' and from Rusk's Farm, Kersey, Hadleigh in 1925, four pencil drawings 'The Close, Chichester', 'The By-Way', 'Interior of Hadleigh Church' and 'Arundel Bridge'. She died at Wandsworth, London in 1987, she was unmarried.
